Frequently Asked QuestionsQ: What are your Prices?A: My prices are not listed as they vary by location and your budget, so please email me and I will send you all the information you need. Q: Do you work with a second photographer? A: Although majority of the work I do can be completed single-handedly, I'm happy to partner with other photographers and videographers for larger packages that call for an extra artist's perspective on your special day. Q: Do you offer engagement sessions? A: Yes, I do! I love working with my clients and getting to know them from engagements, her bridals, and the wedding. Q: Where do you live and how far will you travel? A: I live in Monroe, LA and offer free coverage to anything within 50 miles of my home. I will travel as far as need be. Within the wedding packages are a rate per mile that I charge for destination weddings by car. If airfare, hotel, and car rental are needed all you are responsible for is a direct reimbursement of the charges. Q: How long does it take before we receive our products and photographs? A: Online galleries are posted within 4-6 weeks of the wedding date and available for direct download. Digital files are typically delivered within 6 weeks of the wedding date by mail on a usb device. Q: How many images will we receive? A: My average minimum is around 400 images, but those numbers vary and depend on factors such as the package purchased, number of guests, hours of coverage, type of event, etc. Q: Do we keep the digital files? A: I provide the selected, edited high-resolution digital files. I do retain the copyright to the images and the right to use the for promotional purposes, professional review etc. You are allowed to make unlimited personal reproductions and copies for your family and friends. Q: Do we receive the raw, unedited files? A: The raw, unedited files aren't available for viewing or purchase. The final images selected for editing and final delivery reflect my high standards and artistic product. The original images that didn't make the final cut aren't archived and therefore aren't available. Q: Do you edit all your own images A: Yes, I do! Every image that you receive has been hand-edited, one at a time, without batching in bulk groups or mass-producing the results. Retouching includes cropping, color correction and the removal of blemishes. More involved editing or requests for major image manipulation is provided at an extra charge . Q: Do you come to the rehearsal? A: Rehearsal dinner coverage is available if you'd like to add it to your collection; otherwise I don't normally attend the rehearsal. Q: What is the 'online gallery' mentioned in your collections? A: It is a private online gallery, password protected section on my website where all of your wedding photographs will be placed online for you and your family and friends to view. It is also a secure shopping cart-which allows you (and family and friends) to order prints and cards and select album prints online. All you have to do is provide the password to anyone who you want to be able to view the images. Q: Do you need time to shoot the Bride and Groom alone? A: Absolutely. I'd like 20 minutes or more alone with you both sometime during the day to create some images of you without your wedding party or guests looking on. Q: Can you hold a date for me? A: To be fair to everyone I can't “hold” a date without a retainer/deposit and a signed contract. I accept bookings on a first come/first serve basis. Q: What is your payment schedule? A: Depending on your wedding package of choice, a booking fee is necessary to reserve your date with the outstanding balance of payment due 2 weeks before the wedding. Q: What form of payment do you accept? A: Cash, check, Paypal and credit cards. Q: If we're running late, will you stay longer than you were scheduled? A: Certainly. I do have an overtime rate and it goes into effect only with your permission and approval that I continue coverage. I will bill you for those hours after you return from your honeymoon. |
